Praying Hands

He looked towards heaven and prayed

"I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Saviour, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus who gave himself as a ransome for all men..."
1 Timothy 2.1-6

PRAYER DIARY

Prayer Diary 2011_01

Each Prayer Diary has an overall theme, in this case

'My Help Comes From The Lord'

"I lift my eyes up to the hill - where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth." Psalm 121. 1-2

For each day there is an overall HIV/AIDS topic to bring before God in intercession. This is followed by a passage from Scripture relating to the theme followed by a prayer to guide our intercession.

In the Prayer Diaries that we send out by email and post to our signed up intercessors, we include also, the details of the specific individuals and organisations who have requested that we intercede for them. These details have been removed from the this web version to protect the confidentiality of the individuals.
